Top albums of 2010 sampler (Updated Dec 20)
There are so many blogs I follow in order to aggregate the content I find useful. They all produce massive “top albums of 2010” lists. Unlike last year, where I posted many of them separately, I thought I’d wait and put them all in one post. I’ve also included the top 10 from each list as a preview.

I’m often baffled by the disconnect between what many blogs deem “worthwhile albums,” and which albums are top-sellers. You would think Billboard and Pitchfork exist in different realities to look at their top album lists.
Well, to partially balance their reliance on sales to rank “top” albums, Billboard introduced The Social 50 earlier this month.
